I am so excited… I am finally going to see my family in Mexico!! Its been a little over 2 years now and I cant wait. I love it there. But the only difference is that everyone has a job now. Things were better when we were younger and didn’t have any obligations. All I want is so have a great little vacation before having to come back to school. I deserve to have fun this time. We are planning to go to the beach and I cant wait. But I hope that its a nice beach with sky blue waters that you could see through. I will tell you all about it.. I leave on the 20th and Ill be there for 2 weeks!! Wish me luck on my flight! <3

Abortion

Im writing a paper on abortion and I need to hear from both sides, pro life and pro choice. I need to come up with a solution that would work for both side. I know its tough, but thats why I need your help to think of something. Please I need some feedback asap, Im meeting with my professor on Monday to go over my ideas. Please help thanks.

I have to admit that I have said “gay” and “retarded”, But when I say that I am with my friends and we are just joking. Just like that boy said, I say it without thinking. It just comes out. But one thing is for sure, after I catch myself saying it I feel really bad because I know that I shouldn’t be using that kind of language. I don’t ever use those words to hurt anyone’s feeling, and I never would. I once say “that’s so gay” in front of a gay friend and I felt so bad , but he didn’t even care (I was so embarrassed) but he knew that I am not the type of person to say thing like that. I felt so bad for the girl in the video. She was so smart!! Some of the words that she said I didn’t even know what they meant. It makes me so mad when people are mean or make jokes about mentally challenges people. It’s Not their fault that they are that way. They can’t do anything about it. People need to accept them for who they are, respect them and treat them just like any other person. Like the girl said, we shouldn’t think less of them for being that way, they are human too!!!! This subject makes me get upset because you see how MEAN people really are!!

WOW this kid needs help!!! I could not believe that this little kid did such a stupid thing. When I first watched the video I could not stop laughing, only because I was so mad. It just made me so mad that he drove a car and caused so many problems all because he wanted to do “hood rat stuff’ and have fun. Kids these days are crazy and need to stop playing violent video games that don’t teach them anything good. I feel so bad for the grandma, but she really needs to teach her grandson the difference between good and bad.

General Education

I personally think that general ed classed are a waste of time. Most of the classes that you take for your g.e don’t even fall into your major requirements. I also hate that you are forced to take g.e’s because it makes you feel like you’re in high school again. Another thing that sucks are the actual classes. I think that more people would go to college if you didn’t have to take general ed classes. For one thing it would be much faster, and it would also be much cheaper. Of course there will probably be a few classes that I like, but for the most part I’ll dislike most of my classes and I might even drop a few.

Research Papers

When I hear the words research paper I think of something that I am forced to do. In my past experiences I’ve had to write research paper on really old people that are not interesting at all. I can’t write my best when something boring is forced upon me. I love writing papers on things and people that I want to know more about. I want to be that person digging up old news about someone that no one else knows. I once had to write a research paper for a Spanish class and I ended up loving the assignment. I wrote about the life of Libertad Lamarque, I learned so much about her that I will never forget her.

First off I just wanted to say that I feel so bad for the poor girl that was so brutally beat up. I don’t have any sympathy for the stupid girls and the two guys who went along with the whole thing. I think that the teens who were involved should be treated as adults. To plan something out like that and to want to put it on You Tube as a victory trophy, that’s just SAD! This video just goes to show how crazy kids are these days. Hopefully something good will come out of this tragic incident.

Today

I’ve had a very long day today. I woke up and got ready for school. I took my brother to school and then I fed my dogs. My boyfriend at this point was headed to Fresno for a tennis conference with the MJC tennis team. My first class was boring and quick, but my government class dragged on for days. Finally it was time for my Espanol class! I was looking forward to getting my test back considering that I usually get A’s on my tests. The teacher called my name first, and as he handed it to me, I had a huge smile on my face. Then I looked down and realized that I got a C+, I was crushed. I was so disappointed in myself. After that class I had break with my friend Daisy and her friends. I had such a great time hanging out with them today! We just laughed about everything and it really made me miss Mexico for some reason. I can’t wait to go back to Mexico one day, I really miss it there! Well anyway it’s now 9:10 and I am going to watch a movie with my boyfriend whom I really didn’t think that I was going to see all weekend because he was going to be so busy. I can’t wait to see him and watch a movie; hopefully my day will end well.

At this point my vote for president would have to be between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. I agree more with the political views that they have when it comes to health care and immigration. I have heard all of the madness going on with the lies said by Senator Clinton and the problems that Obama is having because of his pastor. I think that people shouldn’t be listening to the remarks made by Obama’s pastor. Obama is the one running for president, not his pastor. I also think that Clinton and Obama should get along and not make each other look bad because they are both Democratic candidates. People need to concentrate more on their views instead of their controversies. They are both amazing candidates and they would make great leaders.
